    Astronomy Misconceptions
Pedro Braganca, Herb Koller, Simulation Curriculum Corp
    Room: 324 KTL Ref: D06

The Moon does not rotate. The Earth completes one rotation in 24 hours. The Big Dipper is a constellation. Polaris is the brightest star. The dark part of the moon is caused by the Earth’s shadow. Stars are fixed in the sky. Come and learn about some of the astronomical misconceptions your students have and how Starry Night can help you correct them.
