Downloading and Installing

Download the Starry Night Dashboard Widget

You must first install the Yahoo! Widget application in order to run the Starry Night Yahoo! Widget. You can download the Widget application and a starter set of Widgets from widgets.yahoo.com.

Note that some installations require an administrator's ID and password, depending on your privileges.

Download both the installer and the zipped file of starter Widgets.
Launch the installer. After installation, do not start Yahoo! Widgets.
Unzip the starter Widget zip into My Documents\My Widgets for Microsoft Windows. For Apple OS X, unzipping puts a Widgets folder on the desktop; to install the set, drag the folder to Documents.
Start Yahoo! Widgets from Start > Programs > Yahoo! Widgets or Applications:Yahoo! Widgets.

You can access all your Widgets by selecting Open Widget from the gear menu in the dock, Windows system tray, or OS X menu bar. For more information about the Widget Dock, refer to this article.
