Starry Night This Week The King Of The Planets And Our Nearest Neighbor Make A Dynamic Duo Look west after sunset on the 17th for Jupiter and the Moon. See if you can spot the Earthshine on the shadowed part of the Moon, sometimes called "the new Moon in the old Moon's arms".
Two or three hours later, look east for the red glow of Mars.
